The process of building and firing

In order to create these huge porcelain rings, the largest one being a 1.5-meter diameter, I needed to customize a special pottery wheel. I designed and built a unique kiln in order to fire them all as one piece to 1200 degrees.

This technical process took its time and, obviously, became one of the biggest achievements of this project, since it had never been done before.
